Replacement straps/bracelets/bands for Seiko Coutura

Can anybody explain to me how the bracelet on Seiko Coutura watches attaches to the case, and if it is possible to buy or adapt either factory or leather bands that will work with them? Sorry, no photos right now, but the bracelet that came on it has a notch for a part of the case that protrudes, so rather than a pin that goes through the band and into the case on either side, something must go through the band on either side of the case.

I'm sure that is a horrible description, but if you're familiar enough with the style to know the answer, you probably know what I'm talking about!

Thanks for any info you may be able to provide, assuming you can understand what I typed...

Integrated bracelets.

There are no aftermarket slip-ons.

I'm afraid you'll have to get them from Seiko or type in the particular model into ebay. Some straps and bracelets appear from time to time.

Anybody have any idea if you can use a leather band from a different model Coutura that has a leather strap that looks like it would work on the SNL036 (sorry, no photo...).

Let me try that again... Anybody know if the leather band from any other Couturas would work on the SNL036? I think that was clearer...

Don't think there is a leather band for this case style. Send an email to Seiko to confirm. Chances are slim. What they do sometimes with other models is add a link to attach the leather strap, resulting in poor centering of the clasp.

I have two Seikos with integrated bracelets. As much as I like them, I probably won't get another (not Seiko, just integrated). I guess the thing that is most likely to need replacement would be the clasp itself, and I'd guess that can be interchanged with any of similar size.
