Simple as that, what do you think?
I'll answer your rhetorical question: none that are new! For that matter, you'd be lucky to find most any Rolex model used for under $4000 if they're recent in LNIB condition. Maybe a DateJust 116200 basic model, but as soon as you add option like a Jubilee bracelet or WG bezel forget it!Are there any Rolex steel models for men in the 1-$4,000 MSRP price range anymore?
New Ebel 1911 line utilizes inhouse movements and complications. They even make tourbillons inhouse. I think Ebel is at least in the Omega category, if not higher. But definitely not with TAG or Raymond Weil.I'd say the list is fairly accurate except for Ebel - I'd move them into the Tag Heuer/Raymond Weil category.
rmoorez;131826They are flawless and keep perfect time. So I guess my vote is not Luxury but high quality and great value[/QUOTE said:I agree with this quote - I should have added that to my entry earlier - I think the same way about Invicta watches. I am also a Rolex owner as well. I think a lot of the Rolex's out there are more jewelpieces than daily beaters, so I give a bigger thumbs up to Invicta's watches because they can all be daily beaters.
Luxury or not, that is one beautiful watch! My wife may just disagree with some of you:

Absolutely stunning!!! I think any woman would be blown away by that watch!!:scared:Luxury or not, that is one beautiful watch!
Agreed Mike, all are luxury brands by definition of the term "luxury".....but then I guess we could start a poll on what we would consider a prestigious brand. And being that the word "prestigious" is just another subjective term, we start all over....oh what fun we have here at the ol' WTF:biggrin:I think there's a confusion here between luxury vs. exclusivity/prestige. Luxury is the opposite of necessity. Neither Rolex nor Invicta are necessary to own in order to tell time, so that would make both luxury items.
On the other hand Rolex is more prestigious than Invicta. PP, VC and AP watches, among others, are more exclusive and arguably more prestigious than Rolex, but all of them are luxury brands-by definition.
