Here is what I received today. Initial impression is that is this is one fine timepiece. Better fit and finish than many watches for which I have paid far more. This is an example of Invicta at the very best.

42 mm I believe Falcon. I know you may like them a little bigger, but seriously look at this model.

I only have one complaint about the 2014. The bezel just seems cheap. It is hard to believe that Invicta would not put a better bezel on something that otherwise is so beautiful. I never will use the bezel for diving so it is not that important, but it is my only criticisim on this one.:001_rolleyes:

I do not understand the question. This is a heavy watch, I have not weighed it but it feels similar in weight to my Renato OTV. Probably 150 grams is my guess.

The reason I ask is because my OG lll 7010 have the scalloped bezel and it is thick solid stainless steel.
Ok, I see what you are saying. I would say the thickness of the metal is not my gripe. My gripe is with the rotation. I have too many divers to count, and this bezel just seems so inadequate for this watch.

Really? Is it too loose, does it not have the proper ratcheting feel when you turn it? I'm not sure if I know why you are disappointed. looks wise I sure wouldn't complain.

No complaints Falcon, just my observation. I have a couple of Seiko divers as well as Invicta divers that function much better. This is not a bash Invicta thread it is meant as a tribute to the quality they can provide for a great price. I do however need to express my opinion, and my opinion is that the bezel does not stand up to the rest of f/f of the watch. Again, I love my Invictas. This watch will get a lot of wrist time.

LOL...I'm not getting into that ever again. A guy can come on this forum and tell me he runs over people that wear Invictas and you will not hear a peep from me. So don't sweat it, I was just trying to find out what the issue was, I really like the watch and would consider buying one. Again I really like the textured dials, thats my bag.

No sweat Falcon. I just want this to stay positive. The way the bezel ratchets is simply not smooth. Understand me, this is by far my favorite Invicta I have owned. To give you a little perspective I also complained that my Breitling SuperOcean Heritage had less than what I would consider acceptable bracelet. Not trying to kill anyone, just giving what I consider constructive criticisim.
