Went and did it! Bought number two (2254.50) from our AD...wife's mad but hey I'm working on it and after I heard they were being discontinued I had to finally get it...for now I'm happy. Sorry about the pic size but photobucket won't let me resize them it shuts me down when I try.

Quick question since we are talking about an SMP that is discontinued... Will Omega come out with a watch that looks like the 2254 ?? I think it looks terrific and am disappointed that it will be or already is gone.

In my mind, it's hard for me to purchase something that is off the market...I get the feeling that it would not be serviced properly.. etc.

Any ideas or info on the next edition? :confused1:

Maybe not an answer but using "our AD" who was a really swell guy he told me to either email or call when it arrived. I did, but he was busy and would call back.

Within 10 minutes he called back and he and I ended up talking for our a half hour about stuff; boating, crabbing, recipes and of course watches. He said he recieved 6 calls that day about the White GMT which he says is now selling over retail IF you can find one in good shape...anyways he was told they [Omega] may be reintroducing it with the CO-Axial I would assume as will be the 2254.50 with the new co-axial movement...or so I have gathered, but being a non-watch techie I may be wrong.
