Hi,

I've just bought a Hillwood watch winder with Clockwise/Anticlockwise and alternate winding cycles. I know some watch movement's require certain directional movement.
Can anyone advise me which direction a Hamilton X Wind with Valjoux 7750 should be set to wind on the automatic watch winder?

i hope a moderator will ear-mark the information from the website--good info to have. from my experience using other winders, eta 2824 do indeed remain wound using either direction. miyota 8215 calibers seem to like counter clockwise--at least the inexpensive invicta watch i use to own. i wonder if the motor will last longer if both directions are used for those watches that can utilize both directions?
