Just wondering what people would be ordering first for this new year. I have finally found out that my 4469 will be here on Monday which tells me that the "Super Express Shipping" is no longer a good idea to save 1-2 days of wait. But, since that was ordered 12/28, it wasn't my first purchase of 2008. A new Aussie will take that honor! I was considering getting the IP coated models but after reading reviews of the coating wearing or chipping early. I decided to get the regular SS version. Also, because the IP versions couldn't be found for less than $220 +s&h I looked elsewhere. I ordered the SS/White MOP Aussie for $110 with free shipping. Seems hard to beat really. I have a Black MOP on the way and now a White, which looks sharp with the SS bezel IMO. Here is a supersize shot from Invicta. What are you guys gonna order??:wink:

I am most definitely "GO" for the steel bracelet skeleton OTV coming to a TV near you this Saturday night.

Otherwise, it is time to wallow out of the Value Pay "quicksand" over the next two or three months. Holidays and clearance shows have taken their toll!

I am still waiting for delivery on 32 degrees, Conquest Chrono, and my wife's Reserve Meteorite IP black with "pressed carbon" on the bezel.

I started this year off ordering more than I intended. hmy:
As I mentioned in another thread I am waiting on a 3036 Ocean Ghost II.
Earlier this week I received a Stauer reproduction of the '33 Graves watch. It's not a bad watch for the price, but it is smaller than I expected. Nowhere in the ad did it mention that the case was 39mm.

Update on shipping: My 4469 has reached my local Fed-Ex. But, according to them, ShopNbc does not allow for local pickups. So, in the warehouse it sits for another 3 days for no good reason.

I ordered the Reserve Meteorite Diver (no diamonds), a Renato Jakal, and the WTF limited edition watch.

The diver is on the FedEx truck heading in my direction as I type this.....
Really looking forward to see how the meteorite dial looks. I have one other meteorite dial (original sub aqua noma), very cool looking dial. Like liquid metal.

One other piece on my list is a Seiko Suma.

See, I am versatile.
