It's okay. If you want one, hurry up... a lot of WTF members swear by Seiko. But there's only one left.
(Personally, I'm a fan of Citizen- but that's just me.) I'd give a better answer, but that wasn't really a meaty question. Sorry.

Hmmm....imho; It has the 7S26 movement inside which is a basic Seiko movement but is very reliable and long lasting with a 41 hr power reserve. The 37mm diameter case is (for me) a nice size but might not appeal to someone who wants a larger watch with more 'presence' on the wrist. The bracelet is kind of 'so-so' but does the job. Overall, its a decent Seiko at a decent price point in my eyes.

Could you recommend anything similar?

Within Seiko the one you picked is a decent choice if thats the style you want. If you're considering something other than Seiko but want to keep that slightly dressy style, i might suggest an Orient "Symphony III". It has a slightly upgraded auto movement with a hacking feature as well as a clear-back case and choice of dial colors. It is a bit larger though at 41.6 mm but sells for similar money to the Seiko you mentioned. You wont go wrong with either though and there are a number of good options out there for less than $200.

I don't see any hints as to what style(s) Mr. G is interested in...he's just asking us what we think. Maybe he's got enough cash stashed away that he doesn't HAVE to worry about an MSRP!
