im hoping for the day/date to be increased in size to 40mm and i would like to see a major upgrade with the sea dweller like a new ceramic bezel, maxi dial, and an increase in size to 44mm. i would also like to see some updates with the explorer II.....perhaps a bezel that can actually rotate. take care and have fun!

I'm thinking there will be a two color ceramic bezel announcement. In fact, since Rolex has the patent on it, we might see it on many models as a signature look.

I'd like to see one of three things. 2 of which I doubt I'll see (this year)

#1 - a new redesigned SS Sub with GMT IIc upgrades

#2 - a 42mm Submariner (we'll call it the Submariner II)

#3 - a 40mm Datejust

Well, I have no idea what might come, but some of the things I've heard that sound good to me,

A new SD with a 42MM case, creamic insert, maxi-dial, new bracelet, and domed sapphire crystal.

An upgraded EXP II with orange hand.

We will see......:thumbup1:

Hey Guys,

Spoke to my AD today and he told me whats to come this year.
Yes yes yes, I know that nobody really knows (except Rolex) whats going to be introduced at Basel but here's what he said.

1. New Explorer II
2. New Sea Dweller
3. Day Date in 40 mm:thumbup1:
4. All rose gold line up ie. Sub, Daytona, Gmt II etc.
5. No changes to the Submariner.

Let's see how correct this info is.

In addition to the some of the requested changes I've seen, I'd like to see the return of the red Submariner. That would be cool. :cool1:

I agree with John. Would love to see the Red Submariner make a return with the ceramic bezel.
If that happens, it would be top of my list for 2008!

With the same clasp and bracelet upgrades as the GMT IIc, of course.

And no polished centre links...brushed please.

Be interested to see.. 2 things that jump at me. The 40mm DD and rose gold sub... I think a RG TT Sub would look really nice. I would love a 40mm DJ, but a DD would be out of the prices for me... Maybe the DJ 40mm would be next year...

+1 on that...and make the same changes to the SD. That's what I'd like to see.

I'm with Mike. I'm thinking an easy and fun thing for Rolex is to bring back the "Steve McQueen" explorer II model.

They could easily update the existing watch with the 3186 movement, Maxi-dial, larger case, and the orange 24hr hand!.

Ceramic bezel and the updated bracelet/clasp on the Sub and SD. Also, as others have said, a red sub would be cool.
