A watch winder recommendation from WatchCases.com, the watch winder experts. This burl wood watch winder by Wolf Designs can be easily programmed for the number of turns per day and turning direction that is best for your watch. It is the easiest to use of our programmable winders. This winder does all of its winding during the day, so even though it is not very loud to begin with, there is no chance it will keep you up at night. It can run off batteries or be plugged in to the wall. You can even plug multiple winders in to one electrical outlet as your collection grows.

Brown Safe Manufacturing is known as one of the worlds foremost producers of advanced luxury safes, and they specifically produce some of the finest high-security vaults for storing your timepieces. Revolution Magazine, a top publication dedicated to luxury watches, recently wrote this superb assessment of Brown Safes products. In the Revolution article, the writer notes some of the important aspects of what makes Brown Safe the best choice for watch enthusiasts.
Brown Safes impressive lineup of luxury safes look great and are packed full of features specifically designed to aid the watch collector in organizing and keeping their collection in top condition, but the ultimate goal of any safe is to provide protection against theft and damage. Sadly many safes on the market today do little in this area to provide adequate protection, instead creating an easy one-stop-shop for burglars.
Revolution Magazine notes one of the major advantages Brown Safe has over other manufactures may be the more than 35 years of experience in producing safes for the global military sector, including US embassies and military installations the world over. This insures Brown Safes extensive background in defending against real world attacks is unmatched and that these safes are designed for and subjected to severe entry attacks far beyond what most residential safes will ever face. This real world testing has necessitated Brown Safe is constantly innovating and improving their designs to ensure they remain one step ahead of those bent on gaining illicit access.
It also means through their strong military ties they have access to the latest fortification materials and technology that are otherwise unavailable to the civilian sector. The startling truth is 95% of the safes built today are only designed to withstand attacks by common household tools for a maximum of 5 minutes, and even most high end safes fare only marginally better. In contrast, Brown Safes are designed and built to withstand severe attacks for hours, even days, by every known entry tool and weapon.
Continue reading the Revolution article for more about the inside scoop on Brown Safes history and the unique advantages their products have in protecting your watch collection.

2011 WATCH TALK FORUMS PATRON PROGRAM CAMPAIGN
Every day, we're seeing the ranks of WTF Members joining the Patron Program grow! Thanks SO MUCH to everyone who has joined the program!! We're on our way to the goal of 1000 Patron members in 2011!
For 2011, we're enhancing the WTF Patron Program significantly, and providing some strong benefits which only Patron Program members will enjoy.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PATRON PROGRAM? WHY IS WATCH TALK FORUMS ASKING FOR DONATIONS FROM MEMBERS?
The Patron Program began at the end of 2008 as a way to help fund the growth of WTF. Our commercial WTF Forum Sponsors essentially cover the basic overhead costs of the site. However, we have no budget for things we desperately need like travel (to get to places like Basel or SIHH for example so we can bring our community a first hand account of the new watches which are introduced every year) and advertising (so that we can draw in even more participation in our various forums which is more fun for everyone), and compensating the Admin Team for article work (who work as volunteers currently) so we can generate more professional content for the site which we all can enjoy.
We started the Patron Program with the understanding that the primary benefits to the contributing member was the recognition within the community for being a Patron Program Member, and the satisfaction which comes from contributing to a worthwhile cause. Based on the extremely low participation in the Patron Program in 2009, it was clear that there was not enough incentive for Registered Members to become Patron Program Members.
SO WHAT'S CHANGED WITH THE 2011 PATRON PROGRAM? WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CONTRIBUTING FINANCIALLY TO WATCH TALK FORUMS?
Last year we started rolling out our brand new Patron Program. This program is designed to provide a lot of added value to our Patron Program Members, with MANY new and positive benefits for them, including:
NEW and EXCITING system functionality - the "My Watch Box" feature which allows you to showcase your collection for all to see!
Special pricing and discounts which WTF Forum Sponsors will ONLY make available to WTF Patron Program Members!!!
