Locman Men's 1970 Titanium Collection Chronograph Rubber Strap Watch
Street Price: About $550

The 1970 Titanium collection embodies Locman's emphasis on bold design and cutting-edge materials. This case is light-weight and super strong titanium with a carbon fiber dial. Titanium, in addition to being very light-weight and durable, is a totally non-allergenic material. Carbon fiber is a high-tech polymer, and currently one of the most sought-after materials, found in the most expensive watches. The watch is oversize and clean-lined, and the carbon fiber (which resembles a three-dimensional black-on-black checkerboard) adding some extra depth to the dial. This watch has a textured rubber strap - the rubber is durable and perfect for sports and other leisure activities, while the textured finish makes it a perfect choice for business functions.

Further dial description includes silver-tone luminous Arabic numerals at 4:00, 8:00 and 12:00 with luminous indices at all remaining hour positions. Movement complications are expressed through the dial with sub dials near 6:00 and 12:00 with a date window near 3:00. “1970 Titanium” is scripted below 12:00 with “Locman Italy” scribed above 6:00. Silver-tone luminous hour and minute hands paired with yellow chronograph and sub dial hands revolve around the dial. Rubber comfortably warps this piece around your wrist. Stamped in the strap is “Locman Italy” with “Handmade in Italy” stamped on the underside.

Mr. Wauters, is that the European price?
Nice watch for that kind of money. Bit pricey at $550!

I like it. Too much cash for a quartz however. Throw in a 2824 into it and I'd be tempted.
