Nice Movado! I bought this one for my wfe, and almost had to force her to take it. I spend thousands of dollars on new watches for myself, and she will barely let me spend a few hundred on her. Nonetheless, she likes it a lot now.

Hey In38437 - Congrats on the watch! I'm sure she'll like it.. :thumbup1:

@Mike - LOL!!  Careful though. Having a wife that doesn't want to take expensive watches is a plus. Most wives make up for the watches in other jewelry catagories anyways... My wife didn't used to care about watches, was extremely pleased with her Movado & Bulova. Now she has a Tissot, Tag and the most recent is a Zenith Baby Doll. The Zenith is her first auto, so now she's getting slightly interested.. A few weeks ago at the AD she even started looking at DateJusts! What have I done!?!?!?! :crying:

BTW, I love that tag line, I'm going to use it! :thumbup1:

Uh-oh Scott - Sounds like you've created a monster! I think I'll buy my wife a couple of $15 Timex watches just to "ground" her a bit.:001_tongue:

My wife couldn't really care less about the function of a watch, but now if she has a choice of colors to match an outfit, she is happy. I did get her a Lupah a couple of Christmas' ago, but it took a spin in the garbage disposal. She felt really bad. I tried not to laugh when she handed me the pieces.:w00t::001_wub::w00t::001_wub:

hey watchrob my girlfriend is the same... she doesn't really care about the functions of a watch as long as its pretty and shiny. its actually more of a bracelet to her... and Movado watches are perfect for her because the womens models are very small which is perfect for a barely 5 foot tall woman. i am always amazed how small watches can be personally im used to the heavy bigger stuff so when i saw the movado in the store i was amazed.

My wife is exactly the same. I got her this watch for her birthday this year and of course I had a plan that I wanted to set into motion. More Invicta's for myself !! She loves it by the way.
