I have a Germinal Voltaire wrist watch my grandfather gave to my younger brother that I want to get in wearable condition and return to my brother. The watch runs really well and keeps time to within +- 3 or 4 seconds a day; the main issue is the acrylic crystal is in need of replacement. Would any of you or any of the sponsors of the forum know of a reputable repair shop that can handle really old watches? I know the cost to repair it will most likely exceed the watches worth, however, it has a great deal of sentimental value to my brother. Thanks for any responses in advance.

The only one I know in town has never wanted to work on mechanical watches. I just consider him a battery changer.
