First post in Omega but many in the Invicta. Question is this, has anybody dealt with buying Vintage Seamasters (50's-60's) and restoring them? I am looking to "cough" step up "cough" from Invicta to Omega but do it affordably if you can say that. Looking at the Seamasters in black.

If anybody has anyother sources of good info on vintage omegas that would be great.

There are a number of vintage experts here who may be able to help. I don't know enough about older Seamasters and do be careful that there are many out there which are not as they seem.....

With careful shopping, you can find solid watches. Look at the feedback ratings. But if you really want to be certain, deal with our sponsors who handle vintage pieces. Much safer.

Yeah, what I'm looking at getting one and restoring it or one that is in decent condition. I would just like to know of sources and maybe the basics of the models that Omega offers.
