Yes, but since very few people in general rely on GMT, it's not a problem.

I was waiting for this one. Yes, the map is on a disc that rotates with the hour hand.

It was not a successful model (likewise, the Cross Country), was discontinued after 1957, and is somewhat scarce today. A jewelry store I had been patronizing was going out of business and contacted me about two of these. They were asking $200 ($100 ea.) so I bought them, kept the nicest one, and sold the other for $200.
