IMO, a beautiful watch with the very scarce black enamel dial option. I would guess that for every one of these dials, I've seen 40-50 of the applied gold number dials. This model is often confused with the 1940 Yorktowne model which is identical, except the case is 10K ygf.

I do like the longer cases from this era. They seem a little scarcer than the models with the shorter cases (under 36 mm).
