I am noticing more vintage Hamiltons at WTF lately. At least once a week I'll see one on the General Forum Wrist Check. Is this a recent trend or am I just more sensitive to it these days?

If the stuff coming out of Basel is an indication of where the brand is headed then the vintage stuff will be the only ones worth having.

Did you see pacifichrono's vintage Hamilton post in today's (April 2) wristcheck in the General Forum. He has quite a collection of vintage watches so I'll invite him over so our sensibilities can be soothed when we see the rest of the 2008 Basel introductions.

The dial on that one was quite impressive. :drool: It was a good day for vintage Hamiltons with three represented.

That's an impressive collection!!! I particularly like the 1940's tank style watches. I sometimes wear my dad's tank Hammie when really dressed up. I "borrowed" it before my wedding in 1987 and "forgot" to return it!!!!!!
