As luck would have it, I'm uncharacteristically NOT wearing an Elgin.
It was time to take my Hamilton Chapman out for a spin. I need to take a new pic, since it's on a new (to it) strap that looks more like the original catalog pic.
I'm also carrying, for show-and-tell purposes, my first vintage watch. It's a 16-size (roughly) Sterling Silver KW/KS Swiss watch, 15j, with an enamel dial labeled 'T. Lovejoy, Wimbledon'. Lovejoy was a watch and clockmaker, who presumably imported and sold these. I've found reference to several other similar-sounding watches, but no pictures.
And as it turns out, I will also not be posting any pics, either. I haven't taken any digital ones. I'll remedy that after work.
