Just got a new watch winder. I can adjust turns per day and direction. What is the right amount of TPD for LTs. Does it vary by movement? Winding a V1 and 500M and soon an M Bronze.

Yes, the winding direction and TPD do vary by movement. For the ETA 2824-2 in you V1, set the winder to wind bidirectional @ 650+ TPD. I think both the 500M and M53/54 use Sii (Seiko) movements which I am less familiar with.

Just found this database online - Orbita - has Lum-Tec watches listed - but no data on the 500-M series.

Doesn't mention TPDs but this does say which direction for a couple Miyotas & SII including the N15 in the 500M (courtesy of Hexa's forum)
