Just wonder what you think. There is a Reserve Subaqua line to go along with the regular Subaquas now. They come in stainless steel, black, titanium, gold, rose gold, two-toned, with different dial options such as meteorite, black and white mother of pearl, and the regular enamel dials. The come in quartz chronograph, mechanical three hand, mechanical GMT, the Valjoux 7750, and the Valjoux 7751.

I've probably missed an option somewhere, but the Subaqua started out as a limited edition watch with a few choices. Now, sure the watches are limited, but only by Lalo's imagination. When I saw Reserve Subaqua with a Valjoux 7750 selling for $899, I began to wonder, "is Invicta flooding the market with too many Subaqua Nomas?" What do you guys think?

The SAN is what keeps me coming back here, and the watch I use to measure all other watches by. With that said, I also think there may be too many. They are very popular, and I'm glad that more people can get their hands on one, but I just wish Eyal would chill a little bit on them. A couple of things irritate me. One, the SA was around far before the reserve line came out, and to many, was Invictas top of the line watch. I think adding a reserve collection SAN is a bit of an insult. The SAN was at Reserve quality prior to the reserve line. Also, Eyal stated himself that he would not do a reserve SAN. I don't hold that against him, but it is what it is. Furthermore, the SAN is no longer a truly limited edition. The quartz and GMT models are limited production. Plus, with a run of 1000 or 500 for the limited edition watches, they have effectively voided the exclusivity by creating 20 different color and dial combos, each which can have 1000, or 500 pieces. So, I guess I love them and I am dissappointed by certain aspects of them.

For me? bring em' on. Invicta Unlike some other watchmakers has gotten the hint each SA is noticeably different. I really like that. It sets each offering apart from it's predecessor. This IMO makes each and every iteration of the SA different. No need to look for a production date/serial number to know if you are a collector. That IMO shows imagination and a desire to keep an idea fresh and progressive.

Let me preface this with saying I don't own one, though I'd like to. So from that perspective, I think they are beautiful watches, each and every one of them. I can see why some would be upset that they are no longer really exclusive, especially if they were supposed to be exclusive at the time you bought them. But I will argue that the expanded range of SANs doesn't change the fact that they remain one heckuva good looking watch.:001_wub: Those of you who own one or many should take pride in those watches, IMO.:thumbup1: You guys are still part of an exclusive club, even if that exclusivity has been expanded a bit.

At first I was'nt a big SAN fan but I have had a change of heart and I am considering purchasing one for myself. As far as limited editions I believe you can have limited editions within the models regular offerings, but I do believe you reach a point where it no longer is considered a limited addition, that said I have decided this model will be my next invicta purchase it is a great looking watch with a style all it's own.

Bless the Lalo for bringing out that $899 Reserve SAN. I certainly wouldn't have mine now if he hadn't. And thanks to my homies at WTF for pulling my coat to that 15% coupon to make the deal even sweeter.

Affordability and variety are what makes Invicta better than all the other watch companies out there. They make something for everyone and at different price levels.

The Subaqua Noma's are my favorite watches.I do think they should be limited to the
very best in movement's and bracelets. They have begun to market it to all price markets
using quartz movements. This to me is wrong. They started out with V7750 and the more
exclusive V7751 and should of stayed with equivalent movements.I still plan to buy my second SA 111 with V7751 as I love the watch.

My Opinion . . .

Every watch company does variations of their successful watch models, so what Invicta is doing is nothing different. It gives more watch collectors a chance to own the version or versions they want.

It is quite apparent the Subaqua Noma has taken the place of the Lupah regarding the successful variations Invicta are creating. The 7751 Subaqua versions will be the grail of the Subaqua fans like the COSC 7750 Lupah or all gold Lupah are to Lupah fans.

I cannot wait to see the new models of the Subaquas IV, V, and Invicta Reserve.:w00t:
