This piece is stunning Some new innovation at last. I putting my bet it a combine work of soprod & BALL engineers effort. But again, maybe incorporating in into a square base(conductor or inspector) would look stunning as well.

Press Release

Trainmaster Five Time Zone

The Trainmaster Five Time Zone puts four of the world's global cities at the wearer's grasp: London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and New York are just a glance away. With an ingenious recessed button system to correct for Daylight Savings Time, the Trainmaster 5 Time Zone makes global business and travel brilliantly simple.

The BALL Trainmaster Five Time Zone represents a leap forward in our longstanding mission to create timepieces for travellers. Webb C. Ball, founder of Ball Watch Company, earned international acclaim in setting the criteria of the Official Railroad Standard watch and his system was so successful that to Railroad Brotherhoods and the general public, the 'Railroad Standard' stood for the very best in quality. These watches served as dependable companions for the adventurous travelers who took to the rails.

The Cannonball crown, a well-proportioned retro-style crown reintroduced in 2007, ensures that setting the watch will be easy while providing a classic touch. The superb accuracy of the watch echoes the pursuit of precision that lies at the core of our brand spirit. The hour markers are BALL's renowned self-powered micro gas tubes that enable unparalleled night reading capability.

The case, in stainless steel, measures 43mm X 12.5mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 50 meters.

MSRP is 4,000 Swiss Francs but Jeremy does say to wait until; Basel ends before US prices are confirmed.

By the way, please note that the subdials in these photos are not in the correct positions.

We opted to display all of them at 12 o'clock to better show the sun and moon illustrations. In the final version, they will of course be at different hours depending on the time zone!

I like it,but have no need for a 5 timezone watch.

I think that is a cool way of telling am-pm on the sub dials :thumbup1:

Im glad to see Ball is delving into other areas on the new watch lines:thumbup:

All the Basel releases are BIG.... not good for people with smallish wrist, like me (not that I am aiming for one)

I like the direction Ball is going into though.
