Sorry. I don't use any of that i-nonsense. All my WTF stuff is done with my laptop, with no problems.
Have you posted in the Site Issues and Web Help forum yet? Have any of your security settings been altered by accident?

Are you using a password keeper or are you copy/pasting your password?

Are you waiting for the site to fully load before logging in? Try waiting 15 seconds.

I also just tried logging in on my laptop Microsoft Windows 7 using chrome and Firefox and it still takes three times to log in, I type the user name and password, I don't copy and paste. Next time I will Wait 15 seconds and try again. Thanks for trying to help me administrator. I'll keep you updated.

Any luck? How was the login? Are you using the HTTPS version of the site or did you update your bookmarks to HTTPS?

- Jb
What do you mean are you using the HTTPS version? I am trying to log on through Google Chrome as I have for quite some time. The site will not keep me logged in even when I check the remember me box and I am still having trouble with a few pictures. The address bas says this http://www.watchtalkforums.info/forums/thread159481.html#post1327083

I waited 30 seconds and it still takes me three times to log in on my Ipad, it starts to log me on then freezes (picture included) then I tried logging in on my android phone and one try and I am in. Then I logged on with my windows 7 laptop with chrome and firefox by using a search engine to get to WTF instead of a bookmark and it still takes three times to log on. I use to have a problem of being kicked off over and over and over but it stopped doing that. can you please explain your statement about HTTPS or HTTPS. When it does finaly log me in it will show the screen saying I have used an invalid username or password, but my username apears at the top of the screen showing I am logged in. Thank you for your help.

At the address bar in your browser, it needs to start with HTTPS, and not HTTP. You will need to ensure you are on that URL. If you're typing in the URL and it's using history to auto fill the URL fully, you need to change it to HTTPS. If you are using bookmarks, update them to the same.

My email showed your link as HTTP, but in your post its showing as HTTPS so I am unsure. Check the URL first to ensure it comes up as https://www.watchtalkforums.info

You may also need to clear cache and cookies.

@Catman8 - Your image is showing as a link. If you are going to embed an image into a post, you need to click Go Advanced, and use the insert image icon or attachment manager there. The one in quick reply will not show the image correctly.

Go Advanced!!!

I have verified that the URL says Https on all my devices. When it tries to log me in the blue bar starts to load and freezes, the same thing happens when logging out. but the good news is that it only takes two times to log me in now, maybe WTF is warming up to me.:w00t:

I get the invalid redirect link when trying to log in. There definitely is a problem. I have the latest Mac OS/Safari and iOS/Safari installed and on both systems, when logging in, you get the invalid redirect message and then you have to go back and enter your password again.

The other problem I have is that WTF forum logs you out, often. Over and over again and recently, it doesn't recognize my password. Then I have to request a new password. That with my image issues, WTF is making it awfully hard to post anything.

That's sort of problem....

I love when you upload your photos and type what you want to say and hit post and it then says you are not logged in, then you have to do it all over again. So I have learned to type what I want to say in Microsoft Word copy and paste and post as quick as possible before it logs me off.

Clear your cache and cookies and try again. This sounds like a bad cookie which thinks youre not logged in.

- JB
Oh yea I've cleared all cookies and still no difference. I have three devices, IPad, windows laptop and android Smart phone and these problems persist with all three devices. I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feelings so please don't take this as a nasty statement, I'm just sharing real life experiences, I belong to seven different forums and those forums run circles around this one, they operate smooth as butter, WTF has so many frustrating Glitches and very unfriendly features. If six forums work without all these problems that tells me it's not my devices. I hope this helps.

I would suggest re-bookmarking the site if you're accessing it from an old one.
Give that a try and see if it works.
The site was recently moved to the cloud/https and we're working on the issues that happened after the migration.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Ed

Yes I am using https, not a book mark. Ok I just figured out how I don't have to log in twice, when I log in the first time the blue bar goes across the screen like its loading then it freezes, instead of logging in again I click on the forum tab and it takes me to the forum screen and shows me logged in.

Well I'm glad to hear that you found a method that works, although I'm still curious what is causing the underlying issue. It really does sound like an https vs http issue, but if you're sure that you're visiting the site through https and not an old or cached url, then I'm not sure what the problem would be. Is anyone else still having the same issues?

No issues here... I have a 2015 Toshiba Laptop, a 2018 HP Chromebook, 2 Kindle tablets and an android phone. All log me in with no issues every-time. Hope this helps. :thumbup1:
