The actual one that Armstrong took to the moon!
I can't believe nobody has posted the Race end timer from the Museum collection.
I've only recently discovered it myself, but I think it's my new goal.

I can't believe that anybody has not posted this one yet.
I purchased this from a small shop in Switzerland last fall after falling in love with it.
It is the 30th year anniversary of the landing on the moon from 1999.

Not one of my favourites simply due to the dial design being a bit difficult just to read the time.

HELP!
You know...I've looked at that damn watch, off-and-on, for 6 hours now and I'm STILL not sure what time it says. o_O
Does that dial read as 7:07 ?

Looks to me like 8 past 10 and 38 seconds.
Thanks, SF-G. Now I see that the gizmo in the center counts the seconds. It's like what I believe Ulackfocus once said: If it takes longer than 15 seconds to be able to read what time it is, move on to a different watch!
You have to give it a pass. That thingy in the center is OMEGA’s exclusive Central Tourbillon movement with a retail price of $137,000.00. It probably never leaves the box.

I agree with the difficulty to read the time but the craftmanship and art of design amazes me. Plus if I could afford one of those I would not be caring much about time.

I dont disagree with your thoughts on the artistry and craftmanship of that Omega, its just that for me I want a watch that i can tell time with at a glance. I dont have an artistic bone in my body according to my high school art teacher.... 😄
