Who will buy the first watch of 2008???
Watches ordered in 2007 and delivered in 2008 are not counted.
Surely some one will order and take delivery (or buy from a B&M store) in the early part of 2008.
Post a pic as soon as the watch is purchased and have the distinction of the
First WIS of 2008!!!

I know for certain it will not be me! Wife gave me a Rolex for Christmas and our anniversary is January 1. So, you guessed it, I gave her one.:001_wub:
Since her money is her money and my money is her money I am dead broke now!:crying: Add to that, I just last week payed Tom for the WTF watch and I am as dry as a bone!:001_unsure: Oh, I forgot, I also have an Invicta coming but I only paid $49 for that one on clearance. And I may never see that one anyway because it has been in the infamous "processing" stage for days. I soon expect to hear, back ordered or out of stock. Which, may be a good thing after all.:laugh:

Hmm this could be a very interesting contest. I wonder who it will be and what it will be. Invicta? Rolex? These would be my guesses.

Not me. I may not purchase a watch this year, and instead invest the money. Yeah, I know. The right thing to do. With the economy in a bleak condition, I would rather have some more in the nest egg, than another watch.

But Found Nothing Of Great Interest. Came Home And Ordered A Luminox 8409. Needed A Large Watch With A Rubber Dive Band And Orange Dial. With A 44mm Black 316 Pvd Case This Was Perfect.

I broke down and called slopnbc today and guess what? The "clearance" item I ordered is on, "back order".:cursing: How can that be? I thought clearance meant, we have x number to sell and we are clearing them out. If you do not have the item, how can you be clearing them out?:confused1:

Me too, TB! I called our fave Omega AD at about 4:30 PM EST on the 31st and ordered the Speedy Pro Moonwatch 3570.70 which should be inbound by now. :001_smile: What do I win? :001_tt1:
