I think the movement in that watch is actually an ETA 2895-2.
I don't think Hamilton would modify a center second hand 2824 into a small seconds 2895.
Not unlike the Breitling SO Heritage 38:

That is a beautiful watch. I owned one a while ago. Unfortunately, I don't have the wrists to pull that watch off and it became a drawer queen. Enjoy.
