Thanks, foghorn.

They're all good boys and it's kinda heartwarmin' to have 'em all out in the livin' room for the Christmas season, instead of holed up in their dark little drawer.

The Casios and the Citizens get to set out on the nightstand so they can get their necessary electromagnetic radiation.

The real value of this collection is the process of research, discovery, and price stalking.

My involvement in this forum represents the end of one collecting era and the beginning of another.

This new era will yield fewer watches and perhaps less precision, but it should be even more gratifying as I learn more about this fascinating area of interest.

The first act of this new era will be to get a new job.

That won't take long, though.

The accurate measurement of elapsed time is a big deal with me.

Don't ask me why.

Just having a chronograph or a rotating bezel on my wrist makes me feel good about myself.

The ones that lack that capacity have features that fulfill some other need.
