The ATL GTG was held today at The Diner at Sugar Hill. We had 19 in attendance. One of the highlights of the gathering was the drawing for a Tudor watch and three other nice prizes. The drawing was conducted by Fr John using internet random numbers to determine the winners from the 300 TRF forum members who were entered. Using an e-link to the Rolex Forum Owner in Australia, Fr John sent the winning numbers. There were four lucky winners from around the world.

As usual there were fine watches brought by those attending. Here is just a sampling of what was there. As in the past, Lum-Tec watches sent a display box of 10 of the latest models for the group to examine.

After two hours of milling about looking at watches and eating a fine meal, the group went to Tara Fine Jewelry. Tara hosted the group to dessert and their courteous sales staff let the group examine watches from their Rolex, Omega, Breitling and Tag Heuer offerings. Tara also held a drawing for two nice bags of watch-related goodies. I was lucky enough to win one of the two bags.

We have been fortunate to always have a good turnout, good GTG sponsors like Lum-Tec and Tara and great places to eat and visit. It was a great time! Cheers, Bill P.
