This 38.5mm Aristo Bauhaus Desau 1 Sapphire with ETA 2824-2 inside arrived yesterday. Aristo is more associated with aviation watches, but they've always had some Bauhaus entries that compete with Stowa and Nomos, and the prices are highly competitive. Along with it, a Vollmer mesh band with curved ends arrived. Had to fabricate a couple modestly curved spring bars using the base of a thin shooter glass to wrap it around. The blue sunburst dial isn't the old-school Bauhaus of a black or white dial would but it was too attractive to my eye to pass by. As one would expect on a watch of this type, there is no lume.
