I purchased a quartz Aquaracer in 2015 that I had for 5 years that I liked very much but I sold it recently to reinvest in an automatic Aquaracer. Just today I purchased a like new black Aquaracer with the caliber 5 ETA movement complete with the original box and accessories for $1,350. This watch is just under a month old and looks new other than a very small scuff on the end of one of the links. The original owner sold it because it was bigger on his wrist than he liked. I know Tag Heuer gets a lot of hate and that there are superior watches to be had but I personally like them, this particular design especially. The retail on this watch is approximately $2,750 from an authorized dealer and around $2k from a non AD seller. At $1,350, I feel like I got a fairly good deal. I’m looking for some feedback on what a watch community thinks on the price that I paid, which is around half price for a brand new one from an AD. Thanks in advance.

I dont think there is much 'dislike' here for Tag Heuer. They're good solid watches and reasonably well designed but a bit 'massive' for my personal tastes. Good time to post a couple of photos of this Aquaracer you purchased.

The way I see it is if you are happy with the purchase what does it matter what anyone else says or thinks. You could buy anything whether it be a watch or something else and you'll always get others saying that there are better options out there.
