SYT Brand of Watch. What is it?

I was recently given an interesting wrist watch which appears to be almost if not all original. Round dial, SYT on face, and a second hand just above the six position on the face. I cannot seem to find out anything about this brand. The watch could date back to the 1940's and may have German or Austrian origin. Any help regarding information on this watch would be appreciated. Thank you.

Pictures are a must for a thread like this. I did some Googling on the info you provided, and came up dry. I suggest you take a photo of the watch, upload it to PhotoBucket or some similar service (I prefer TinyPic, but suum cuique on that one) and do a Google Search By Image from there.
