There is nothing like natural light to charge your Echo Drive. Just a couple hours in the sun will do more than a week under a lamp. Every couple months I give these a few hours in the sun. I have never had one stop or even give a low power indication. As my wife's echo sits in a watch box in the dark side of the bedroom sometimes for a month at at time the power reserve seems to be great. I love Echo Drive technology and the top one being a perpetual calendar other than making sure it gets some light now and then I don't have to touch it even in short months. Great for me, Mr Lazy Bones!

Mr Bender,

do yours have the power reserve meter? I've seen one of these that I really like at one of our sponsors and have been really thinking about it and trying to resist but you guys are killing me here..

Grrrr... stop posting pics of the far right eco-drive (AP1024-56P) it's driving me crazy - I want one, but can only get one on ebay (dodgy dealer alarm going off loudly.... ) as it was never available in NZ.
Great watches, btw thanks for posting (ignore my rant:biggrin:)

I've got to get an eco- drive, the technology is fascinating and the styles are really growing on me.

I think I'm becoming a regular here in this forum
I am looking at yet another one right now Larry. Hoping to find a member with some pictures. If it looks as good as I think it may, I will just have to pull the trigger.

Below picture is not mine and taken off the web.

Sorry I did not reply sooner. Just checked back in on this thread. None of the ones pictured have a power meter but they all have a low power warning by the second hand skipping forward several seconds at a time while still keeping accurate time. On a full charge (about 4 hours outside on a sunny day) you get months of power reserve.
