BREITLING CHRONO SUPEROCEAN

Since 1957, the Superocean has earned a solid reputation in the field of diver's watches. Its chronograph version, for example, features exceptional technical specifications. As a genuine seagoing instrument, the Chrono Superocean is water-resistant up to 500 meters (1,650 feet); it is also equipped with safety push-pieces ensuring enhanced resistance and effective protection against shocks. Thanks to this system, the push-pieces may only be activated after unscrewing the restraining ring holding them in place. The Superocean chronograph is synonymous with excellent legibility, thanks to its over-sized hands and sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides, a treatment applied without exception to all Breitling models. The chrono Superocean is fitted with a special version of Breitling Calibre 13 driving day and date displays; a sturdy, precise and reliable movement that has repeatedly proven it worth, on land, in the air and now under the sea.

It's a stunning timepiece forsure.:thumbup::thumbup:

I very nearly bought one of these a little while back. I decided on the Super Avenger instead. It was a tough choice though. Unfortunately, I may never own one due to the fact that the Super Avenger has fulfilled my desirefor the time being for this family of Breitling watches. There's a Navitimer or Mont Brillant to be had first.......and then a Skyracer........and then a Super Ocean Heritage.......and then a Chronomat...........oh cripes!:001_unsure:

Thanks for sharing Scott. I do hope this is the start of a new feature.:biggrin:

Anytime Rick! :thumbup1: Actually, this is the 2nd one. I've planned to do one every week or 2, but unfortunately the holidays threw the schedule out a bit.... :sad:

Remember the first one, take a look..... It's quite a stunner... :wink: :thumbup1:

Threads like these definitely make it hard to exercise self control.... Mmmmmm must have Superocean.... :drool:
You mean the language filter didn't catch that?!?! 'self-control' is inappropriate language here at WTF, probably the worst of the worst.. And exercising it is absolutely taboo!!!! That's OK though.. Simply go buy 2 Breitlings to make ammends....

:wink: :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: :thumbup:

Hey Scott,
I'm sure I saw one of these last night on the wrist of the baddy in the movie "Redeye" (silly movie), I rewound and freeze-framed several times (using our version of TIVO) and you can't mistake the rider tabs on the bezel, or the elaborate "B" on the seconds hand, but it looks like they did the old trick of editing out the text on the dial so it was a 'generic' watch :mad:
probably just as well, since we wouldn't want Breitling associated with nutters like the guy on the movie last night :wink:
(As opposed to 'good guys' like Leonardo DeCaprio wearing his Super Avenger in "Blood Diamond" :001_smile:)
