Well jus returned from my transatlantic crossing on the Queen Mary. A 50th birthday treat.
Along with this was a 1964 spaceview from our Bulgaria. Friend. All was fine for the first few days. Then I noticed it had lost 15 mins over the day. The. It kept stopping. It was still humming. A gentle tap would restart it. But it was not right. :(
I removed the battery, which looked swollen. I then noticed the minute hand was spinning freely with respect to the other hands.
So something. Is definitely wrong :(
Tried contacting Ludmil but no reply as of yet.
Very disappointed. My new cruise watch failed me.
I assume he will repair it for me, at no cost too. It should have lasted longer than 3 weeks. N

Sorry you have trouble with your Spaceview! It's always a disappointment when something like this happens. Yes, Ludmil does guarantee his work and will repair your watch. He will reply to your inquiry. Sounds like the hand wasn't seated properly. I have had this happen to both new and vintage watches. It shouldn't but it sometimes does.

I purchased my Spaceview from him last year. I was not happy with the quality of the replacement crystal and sent it back. It returned with a perfect crystal. Since I returned it with another watch needing service, I didn't incur extra shipping expense related to the repair.
