So What is the Big Deal about Lum Tec?

I knew that would get you guys in here...

I wonder how many people made either the M61 or M62 their first LT? I can't imagine that'd be doing their wallets a favor though. Absolutely gorgeous watch! The more I see photos of the M62 the more I regret not getting in on the pre-order when I had the chance. :001_wub:

I am glad that after two missed attempts you finally got it from FedEx' hands, Pal !!

Congrats, my friend.....as was said above, M62 is a mighty nice 'first Lumtec' to have :thumbup1:

But now the question is "what is going to me your #2?".
Knowing that you are on the road 'all-the-time', I think that
the durable tungsten M27 GMT is calling your name.
The problem is, they sold out just recently of the 100 they made.

Congrats

Now you can start playing with straps........... I've had 5 different ones so far. Currently using the bracelet because I've been in the water a bunch...... I may put the rubber one on next week.

You sure got my attention! As a brand it seems to me that Lum-Tec see's as much or more repeat business as any brand that is about the same size they are. This sure does speak volumes to me. =)

Thanks everyone...

Some of you may remember this story, so I will keep it brief.
Milos came to NY awhile ago and showed me a bunch of his
Lum Tecs... at the time, I didn't really get it, being a strictly vintage guy.

I have to say, this is one of the coolest watches I have ever owned and
being a Harley rider, I get the customization aspect. I Love that there are a TON
of Band options, and you can really make them personal to suit your taste.

Milos... Just what I need is another brand to get addicted to!!!

Some suggestions for the next one????

I agree..:thumbup1::thumbup1:

Combination of the Tungsten case and Swiss ETA is what REALLY hooked me in.
Only 5 more left - 3 manual wind, 2 automatics:
Lum Tec, LLC

Greg, you travel a lot so M27 GMT would be nice. Bad news, they just sold out. But I'd suggest you
call Chris anyway, they could have one laying around. Your other option is to be on the look-out for
a used one. Good news: because of the Tungsten case - it WILL look like a brand new watch the minute
you will put a new strap on it.

Good luck and I am looking forward to hear 'what your next one' is going to be ! :thumbup1:

Welcome to the club Greg! You need to get one of the caps now. I love mine too - all 4 of them with another on pre-order (and I'm not even close to being a big collector!) they are well made, great customer service, and Chris listens to the community to make what people want. A great combo.
