Is it me or are there alot of new members(not seen here or at the old place before) selling watches on the sales forum? By this actual new members.

With the "may have joined just to sell" comment in mind, how do we go about getting feedback on some of these members that are selling, or buying, but are unfamiliar to the regular posters?

I follow a personally-imposed rule: If someone has less than 100 posts, I'm probably not going to buy anything too expensive from them.

It's worked out well thus far...

I'd agree this is good advise with 2 caveats.....

1) some of the members may not have reset their post count from the old site, so do see if the name is familiar (though they may not have used the same screen name on the new site)

2) see if the seller is a sponsor. Some of the sponsors use the SF on a regular basis & will have alot of posts, others use it here and there & won't have many posts. But if they're a sponsor, they're all trustworthy to buy from regardless of post counts. :thumbup1:

Scott has valid points. It also could be due to the economy. A lot of layoffs have been occuring......
