I had very similar experiances to you, only I haven't been able to find anyone to authenticate mine yet. I got an appraisal, but not someone to pop off the back and tell me it's real, still looking myself
If you have a Submariner, I can instantly tell if the case is real, if you post decent pictures of your watch here.

No.

When you see these "frankenwatches", they can have genuine dials, crowns and hands... but bracelet, case and movement are usually fake.

Some of those forgeries are scary good though.

@wantonebad: I seriously doubt there's anything wrong with the movement in your Sub.
