I've had the original 8926 since 1992. It was a gift from dad as a freshman in high school. I gave it back to my dad 2 and half years ago when I got infected with this thing called WISitis and started purchasing others.. :001_tt2::lol:

I remember back in high school how some of the few kids who actually knew about watches, thought it was a ROLEX. But back then I didnt care nor did I know much about watches other than the fact that it was an automatic and found that to be so cool. I believe my dad only spent about $60 for it at the time..

My dad stop wearing about 6 months ago. Let me tell you its taken quite a beating but keeps on ticking.. Amazing watch and cuz of this watch alone, I will always be an Invicta faithful. I also believe this has to be one of the oldest from the DL era(During LALO ownership) for Invictas... :thumbup:

Herbie Gross, lead singer of the Invictas, a Rochester NY rock band from the '60's. Their one big Billboard hit. . . Do the Hump.

Of course I don't own him, but he is the oldest Invicta I know. I actually went to college with the drummer, Dave Hickey.
