I am looking for a quartz or solar watch with gold coloured casing and roman numerals.
I like the SRK050 because of the second subdial, but the lack of date calendar turns me off. I frequently forget the date and find the feature convenient.
The Seiko Premier looks interesting, but I cannot find reviews of it. If anybody has experience with either, I would be happy to hear about them.

I think you'll have to consider the Seiko SUR307 to get the date feature in that watch line.

I do not think that review site is legitimate; they say nothing of substance and all of their pages are verbatim copies save for the product name.

So do the Google search for "Seiko SKP396P1 review" I dont see a whole lot out there on this watch so my guess is that it wasn't very popular with the 'unwashed masses' that it was marketed towards.

I came close to buying a similar Premier a couple weeks ago at a sale price of $150. I couldn't do it because I like to have a seconds hand.
