So, I was at my local dealer today, looking at what they had to offer, and two pieces caught my eye:

(borrowed photos)

Man, I just couldn't decide. I was also looking at the Carlos Coste:

To be honest, though, the Coste, nice as it was, was really too big. Not so much in diameter, but in height.

So, I'm torn between the two watches above. The TT3 has a funky clasp; not weak or cheap; just funky in its' design. I did, however, really like the diamter, which is 43.5mm. The TT1 Diver was sweet. Nice and hefty.

The dealer gives me a 20% discount because my company buys a lot of watches from them. I could get both of the watches for some pocket change under two grand.

If you were going to pick one, which would it be, and why?

Photos fixed in the original post.

Would like to hear the learned opinion of the folks here.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I'm thinking about the TT1...

Steve of the two choices I would go with Diver SS because as you said its just hefty looking watch. Also do not like the rubber strap on the other. If it was me I would love an Oris TT1 Chronograph SS or even their Regulateur.

The rubber strap is something I like about my Williams F1. The strap on the TT3, though, is far more stiff and, like I said, the clasp is "funky".

The wife prefers the TT1, although she did say to get both "if that'll make you happy". Hehehehe... love to, but I think that would be a tad excessive. And, I really don't care for the strap...

Diver with out a doubt for me. Perfect watch in every way for my tastes.
That's what I'm thinking, as well.

The wife brought up the point that I already have a "black watch" in the Williams F1. I don't have anything with a bue dial, and I don't have anything that's as hefty as the Diver. The Williams, with the bracelet installed, is close. I've had the bracelet installed, but I think it just makes the watch look very non-descript...

So, I've pretty much decided I like a blue dial.

Now, I need to narrow it down between these two:

In all honesty, I think I'm leaning toward the Omega; I've already got an Oris. The Omega is available from a reputable online dealer. It's more expensive than the Oris, but about half the price of a new one (it's pre-owned).

Man, I'm a mess.

I'll make the decision tomorrow, so any input between now and then is appreciated...

Steve, this one is a no brainer to me. Oris is nice, good, even excellent - but Omega is a superior watch. (Just don't tell Houst-zin I said this).
My Omega SMP is the yardstick I use to measure all other luxury watches - sort of the industry standard of excellence. I have some watches that surpass my Omegas and many that don't, but the brand delivers quality, value and excellent fit and finish. The history is fun too.
Don't let a pretty red rotor turn your head.

The Deed Is Done...

Well, the deed is done. The deal has been made. The rubber has hit the road. I "put up" when the only other option was to "shut up". I took the plunge. I bit the bullet:

It should arrive my 10:30am tomorrow, so it looks like I'll be going home for lunch.

Thanks for the input, everyone.

My wife hates you all...

Good choice. On the off chance you end up changing your mind, I believe the resell/trade value of the Omega will be higher.
You know, I rarely resell stuff like this. The guys who buy and sell here astound me.

When I got my Williams F1, the wife said I should get the bracelet, too. That way, in case I ever decided to sell it, it would be more attractive with both bracelets.

Thing is, if I ever decide to stop wearing the Williams (fat chance), I don't foresee getting rid of it...
