To set a Seiko with a 7Sxx movement (7S25, 7S26, 7S35, 7S36), swing the watch gently to get it running, and do the following:
1. Unscrew and/or pull out the crown to the farthest position.
2. Turn the crown clockwise to move the time forward to 6:00.
3. Push the crown in one position.
4. Turn the crown clockwise to set the date to yesterday's date.
5. Turn the crown counter-clockwise to set the day to yesterday's day. (This step is omitted for 7S25 and 7S35)
6. Pull the crown out to the furthest position.
7. Turn the crown clockwise to move the time forward. When the day and date change, the watch is showing a.m. time for the current day. Continue to the current time.
8. Push in and/or screw down the crown.
9. Wear your Seiko and be happy!
