Another thread, not only locked down in record time, but totally removed without a trace. This forum has some serious issues.
Let's pull together as a community and devise a plan to cure our maladies:lol:

I agree. It should be about the brand and negative as well as positive should be welcomed. Most of all if should be a pleasure talking about as well as sharing in the joy of collecting this brand of watch. There are many other manufactures of watches out there besides Invicta. But there are other forums for them as well. This is a great forum we have Rolex, IWC, and other forums on this board for those who would like to discuss share as well as learn. Besides..It's all about the watches.:thumbup1:

I agree with you one 100% about being able to discuss both positive and bad experiences with our watches. However we should also be able to distinguish those who share negative experiences from those whose pure intention is to find any opportunity to bash and diminish the Invicta watch collectors… :glare:

All I know is I hit the submit reply button, walked away and went to a meeting, and I evidently missed all the good stuff.

My only question is... do I get to keep my post count or do I lose the two from that thread? It's taking me forever to get to 500, so every one counts.:D:D:D

So what you are saying is if I agree with you and take action to correct the issue I am wrong. :confused1:OK!:confused1:
No Juan, what I'm saying is it would be nice if we did'nt get so many trolls to begin with. You have to admit that we have a fairly high thread lock rate here. It seems that alot of threads end in arguments. I will be the first to admit that most of these arguments involve me to a great degree. It's sad that we own a brand that can be so easily villified. It's not just trolls either. Prolific posters from other areas of this forum often venture in to get a quick dig on us, under the guise of "I own a 99.00 Invicta so I can humiliate you guys here."
Can you honestly say that the Rolex, Breitling, PAM, J&A, Omega, and IWC forums see this kind of turmoil?
Just sucks, that's all.

The thread lock rate reflects the mod's decision on how to control play in the sand box.

I can't recall ever locking a thread. But I LOVE brass knuckle brawls...which are fun, but not necessarily good for the forum.

And Cheeseland isn't a ghetto. It's just urban-ly challenged

I was in the middle of some good comebacks about out of work Maine fishermen and Canadian loggers (or vice versa) moving to Switzerland because they like the cheese and found jobs in a back room putting movements into watches...and Rolex seeing the genius in marketing their timepieces in Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, etc. etc. but I was too slow to post it. I guess it wasn't all that funny anyway, but Wilfreb, I bought a Swiss movement, 9937, not a Japanese one. I'm sure the Japanese ones are great, too. I have owned Seiko watches, and they're great, but I wanted change, darn it. This is America- see it, want it, charge it. Now- where did I put the keys to my Bently?
LOL. Like I said before- this Invicta forum is great, I love my watch, now I have to go feed Sapphire, my dog. I didn't name her, but nice coincidence with the crystal reference, eh? She's a great dog, just like my watch, except my watch doesn't whine or wake me up to go out.

So the best thing to do is ignore it. There are people out there who like setting you guys off and you've been easy prey and have been bashing and diminishing yourselves in the process. Lighten up and enjoy:thumbup1:

Don't do it banned, you'll double the amount of posts they get in a day! They'll be so filled with pride at their success, they'll be impossible to live with.
I've decided that I have to move slowly, and start small with this campaign of terror. Hamilton seems like the easiest mark. I'll practice there and then move on to Omega, and Breitling. By this time I should have honed my skills to be able to bring shock and awe to the Rolex forum!

I forgot that all you Hamilton forum fanatics have eachothers celly numbers on speed-dial for late night Hammy sonnets. You probably will get the word out to ignore, but we'll see, I've already started my three-pronged attack.
Of course we have each other on speed dial. How else would you explain us all showing up on a Thursday in the General Forum wrist check thread?
