Looking for sources that can re-plate a watch case for a reasonable price. I'm restoring my father's first watch he received in the 1950's, a Croton EL, nothing fancy, but it does have a nice hand-wind movement inside it. The case needs to be re-plated with gold and I can't find a place that will re-plate for a reasonable amount of money. One quote was over $100. Something under $40 would be more what I'm willing to spend.
