Found this watch and a few things do not look right.

1-Bezel has been redone
2-Hands do not look correct

Does anyone have any info on this watch?

Hi there Jeff

Good to have you with us.

Sadly the Seamaster 300 is not my area of mediocre expertise. I'll leave this to our other amigos, Gee Jaay, Kieron and possibly Sam ( Hewybaby ). I only do a max of 50m..... on paper I mean :biggrin::biggrin:

They'll be along soon I'm sure.

Be well now

Hello Jeff,
Welcome , hope you enjoy yourself here:)

I am not the expert either, but it looks like an early?60's 300 to me.

It also looks as if the dial was re-done as well to me...

As a collector piece, I would rate this very low.

As a daily wearer (at a good price) it will be a neat piece to have. (a good price to me would be a few hundred USD)

If the price is high, move on and find another one. they are out there...

Cool watch; just don't get sucked into paying too much for it...

A pristine example could go for a few thousand USD.
