I think they are very cool watches, not comfortable, but I love the idea and design.

I bought an Offshore Russian Diver today (model 4600) and I find it comfortable. For one thing, the canteen crown cover doesn't stick out as much as on other RD's and the stainless steel bracelet is awesome. It's a big and hefty watch, but surprisingly comfortable to wear. I love the chrono complication on it as well as the lume.

Nice watch.

One of the best things about watches with leather straps is the fact that you can change the look with different color straps.

Especially the Panerai styles!!! :001_wub:

I have a Russian Diver Anatomic watch. It is smaller than the Russian Divers but still big at 46mm. Any way, I love the chain and that is one of the reasons I bought. It's so unique.

Hey... that IS the watch that started it all for me. Totally captivated by the look and size. The fit isn't all that I expected. The rubber strap is stiff and I didn't like the feel of the buckle, so... I added a deployant clasp and all is well in cheeseland.

I don't have personal experience with the models equipped with a rubber strap, but my leather strap is COMFORTABLE.:thumbup1:
