New member here with a request for some info. I purchased a Sandoz (Hong Kong) "Explorer" type watch for my wife. I got it on the net and it came with paperwork and a warranty booklet (unsigned and undated). Anyhow, the sapphire crystal spontaneously cracked in several places, without benefit of a blow or drop. I would like to get this fixed, but cannot seem to find a Sandoz repair facility in the USA. The booklet shows a location in Hong Kong. This will probably not be a warranty issue, so I am looking for anyone CONUS that may replace the crystal with an original Sandoz part. Thanks in advance.

and so sorry to hear of your problem. :sad:

I do not have any info on Sandoz at
this time, but I would send the entire
watch back to the seller for an exchange
or refund at their expense! :cursing:
There is a good chance the crystal
was subjected to shock before it was
sent to you, or the crystal may actually
be made of glass and not sapphire. :confused1:
Sapphire tends to shatter on impact
and not crack "some time after the
impact." We can try to look up some
info here, but I would try to return the
watch. Welcome again, and our members
will see what we can dig up. :thumbup1:

If all attempts fail to get a solution from the seller, you should not have difficulty sourcing the replacement crystal. If I am not mistaken, Sandoz watches are usually exact homages. PMWF also carries them.
