There is a thread in the GF and they are saying Rolex is made in Iran and other places!! !:scared: :scared: :scared::scared::scared: :scared:

Besides Switzerland, are they made elsehwere?

As far as I'm aware, all Rolex watches are made in Switzerland.
There was a time back in the past where some of the bracelets were made in other countries - The USA and Brazil come to mind. But I'm pretty sure that system was dropped.

Yep. Mexico too. There was a time in the mid 60s American import tax was higher on watch movements with over 20 jewels. Rolex made a version of the 1520 movement with 17 jewels instead of the normal 26.:thumbup1:
