Hey guys,

We got alot of members who take absolute fantastic pictures that make great computer wallpapers. However, if any of you have a hi-res monitor, the standard recommended 800x600 resolution for posting pictures just doesn't cut it as a wallpaper shot. So, how about a gallery dedicated to hi-res Rolex pictures?

John R started this in the General Forum awhile back, and I copied it into the Breitling forum.. Seeing all these great pictures here in the Rolex Forum, I thought hey, lets put one here too! :thumbup1:

A few guidelines for posting a picture in this thread...

1) Please only post hi resolution pictures. If it doesn't meet the minimum recommended resolution in #2, please post it in the other Photo Super-Threads.

2) Minimum resolution should be 1024 x 768. Preferable minimum resolution is 1400 x 1050. (give or take a few pixels... :wink: )

3) Maximum resolution should be no higher than 1920 x 1200 (the maximum even a high definition monitor can display).

4) If you submit a picture, it's assumed you are allowing anyone to download for personal, non-commercial use (such as printing for hanging on a wall or using as a wallpaper on their PC).

5) If you download a picture from this thread, you agree you will use the picture for personal, non-commercial use only & will NOT use, post or transmit over any other site, including using it in auctions or posting to other forums without obtaining the permission of the owner. The submitted pictures remain the copyright & intellectual property of the original photographer.

Derek, Nice MOP day-date. I don't think I've ever seen that dial befoe. Usually not much of a MOP fan, but that looks pretty dang good!! :thumbup1:

The dial is the very uncommon "Rose Decorated MOP Roman" for the Additional Dials list. It was very much admired in "another place" and I suffered great seller's remorse after I part with it.:sad:

A handful of Sea Dweller images for the hi-res gallery:

While these aren't much in terms of creativity, I found the above image exposed particularly well. With natural lighting in my kitchen via the sky lights, I found the perfect amount of light to capture the polishing marks on the lugs quite nicely. It's so easy to lose detail in these areas by over exposing. However, underexposing offers its own set of problems. I just got lucky with the light on this one
