I've already posted a detailed review in the General Discussion forum, but a Swiss watch should be posted in the Swiss forum as well, right?
The Revue Thommen Moon Phase uses the ETA 2824-2 and the Dubois Depraz 9310 complication. The diameter is 42.8mm and it is 11mm thick. It has 25 jewels (I think, but several sites had it at 49 and 52. Would the Dubois Depraz complication add jewels? I wrote RT and asked for a clarification) and a 40 power reserve. The sapphire crystal is treated on both sides with anti-reflective material.
The dial has Quantieme written on it, which means calendar in French. This is the first mechanical full calendar watch I've owned.
The highlights are the dial and sapphire crystal. The guilloche, in silver, shimmers and the polished hands, markers, and rings all work to make the watch look very bright and sharp. Due to the AR treatment, the crystal seems as if it isn't there.
Additionally, the leather band is top notch. Thick, yet supple. The case is highly polished all around. The only negative thing I can relate is the difficult to use deployant clasp.
The watch was easy to set. The crown does one thing only--set time. Four buttons, two on the left and two on the right set the month, day, date, and moon phase. RT suggests not setting the watch between 5 pm and 1 am.
