While were waiting anxiously, on Bill's review, of his new, Pro Diver Scuba, Model 13671.
I'll kill some time.

Back Story…Cruising closed ads, looking for unique Grand Divers, that did not sell.
New, with Tags, still in plastic, Dead Battery.

I see this one, and couldn’t find much info on it.
But the Watch Band, caught my eye.

I, Contact the Seller, ask if they still have it, and would they like to sell it.

We struck a deal, and I bought it.
It comes, and after checking it out, it is working perfect.
2-days later, it is keeping great time.

I realized the owner, thought it was dead, because what is usually the Seconds Sweep hand, was always stuck at 12.

The Seconds are on a Sub-Dial, which is ticking away..

I bought for the Band, to put on my Grand Diver 11753 Watch Head.

The Lugs are 22mm, which are standard on Grand Divers.
Most Grand Divers, have a 10mm Center Link.
The Band is 28mm, Center Links are 15mm.
Poly Outer Links, Fully Polished SST Center Links.
Full Screw Bracelet, Dual Deployant, Butterfly Clasp.

Grand Diver-7128
Signature Collection.
Movement, is a Gold Plated Ronda 5030 D.

I sized the Band, and HANDS DOWN, this is THE Most Comfortable Band, I have ever worn.

I already have an e-mail out to CS, asking for a price for 2-more, with End Links.

Anyway, onto the money shots.

Tim

I'll post later, with the Band on this Watch Head.
Grand Diver, 11753.

Nice looking watch timex. That looks almost exactly like the band on some of their Corduba models. Never seen it on anything else though. Please post what CS says is the price of one of those bracelets. Need one myself. I was figuring around $100.
I've never thought to look at unsold auctions. They usually just get relisted. I've gotten a few watches because they were "dead". Usually it's because the chrono is started and stopped but not reset. So it looks like the watch isn't working. Got a lot off the bay like that where all three watches were in that same dead condition.

Very cool Tim, looks like the band on my Subaqua Nitro. I like the watch too, I don't have a diver with a black face yet. Was trying to stay away from quartz but if you like the watch I'd consider something similar. My review on the 13671 will be out shortly, not as good as it looks.

Vaderdaman, Yes it will fit, but......

The 7128 Watch Head, the bracelet came on, had full length, Lug Ends.
As a result, they rubbed the band.
So much so, that posing the watch for a few photos, left shiny rub marks on the poly.
See the photos.

The Watch Head 11753, has the machined Lug Ends for the poly strap.
Finished it, leaves about .035 clearance.
No more Pinch Point.

NOTE: the poly strap above, will not fit a regular Grand Diver, with the full Lug Ends.

Vaderdaman, as you pointed out, this bracelet is used throughout the Corduba Line.
2 big issues with that.
  • The Corduba End Link, is 28mm wide, won't fit a Grand Diver- 22mm Wide.
  • Center Link, is 15mm Wide, Grand Diver standard is 10mm wide.

As far as Grand Divers go, the End Link, might be an issue.
From what I can tell, this bracelet was offered on very few Grand Divers.
Less than 10 models.

As far as the bracelet goes, tons of colors and textured inserts.
In the Corduba Models.

All of which I had to break down, in my e-mail to Mildred at CS.

I'll let you know what they say.

The Bracelet is from the Corduba Line.
But the End Links for a Corduba, is 28mm Wide, at the Lugs.
The Center Link is 15mm, Wide.

Grand Divers have 22mm, Wide Lugs.
So the End Link cannot be wider than 22mm.
Center Link on a Standard Grand Diver is 10mm Wide.

The End Links, that came off the Grand Diver 7128, were special for the Bracelet.
22mm Wide at the Lugs, 15mm Wide, Center Link, where the Bracelet Attaches.

BUT!!!!!!!!

I checked my Grand Diver 0164, SST & Teak, and it has the correct dimensions!!!!!

22mm Wide at the Lugs, and a 15mm Wide Center Link.

This would allow, any of those Corduba Bracelets to fit ANY Grand Diver!
And since the 0164, is currently in production, I sent an up-dated e-mail, for a price on 10 sets, of End Links, for this model.

See the photos below.
