Picked up my project watch from my local "Rolex Spa"...wow, do they do nice work:



She's got a brand new crystal, and a brand new 93150 Oyster on. I've never personally seen markers this clean and white before.



The movement was completely serviced, and the case pressure tested - the watch is practically brand new again!

Any reason you want to sell this, and keep the 1970 model... besides the fact that it's made in your birth year?

Just curious, as this looks very pretty.

Nope - the birthyear connection with the 1970 is the primary reason. That, and the fact that I have the original warranty paperwork with the 1970 which is EXTREMELY rare. :cool1:
