Hello. I have researched the internet and other websites but cannot find how to remove the stem from my New England "dollar" pocket watch. With my Westclox pocket watch, you pull up a pin to release the stem. I can't figure out how to accomplish this on the New England watch.
I would appreciate any help. This is a great site, incidentally.

I'm not to sure how to accomplish that task myself. I do know the dollar watches weren't made to be pulled apart and worked on, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to do. It might very well be easy. Pictures are always a big help.

I have not figured out how to do it yet as well!

The design on these dollar watches seems to be similar.

Tried to remove the crown on an Ingraham and Ingersoll and could NOT figure it out.

This topic was touched on about 2-3 months ago but I don't remember the name of the thread.
